SUMMER CLASSES FOR KIDS AND ADULTS

July 8 thru Aug 12, Artifatcs will be teaching 6 different kids classes that will be offered twice a week.  The classes will be on Wen. or Sat. mornings from 10 to 11a.m. The classes are $18 and the child must be accompanied by an adult or someone over the age of 16. All materials will be provided.  The kids classes are for 5 years and up.  The classes are Color Theory, Collage, Paste Paper, Simple Handmade Books, Handmade Beads, and Handmade Paper.  Adult classes are July 18th Coptic-Bound Journal, July 25th Intro. to Paste Paper, Aug 1st Collage, Aug.22nd Simple Books.  Please call for more information. 327-2907

 

Are you looking for something great to do?  Come see the new show at Artifacts Gallery.  "LANDMARKS" will open on June 5th and run thru the end of July. 

Opening reception is June 5th from 5-9 pm

Also along with our opening there is the Downtown Art Walk.  Come enjoy a fun evening Downtown with music, food and friends.  While at Artifacts check out some of the new goodies in The Chile Store and check out our sale on chile risrta's for $10.

 

  • Artifacts Gallery displays the works of 50 local and area artists. With prices ranging from $3 to $3000, there is something for everyone.
  •  Watercolor, pottery, handmade furniture, handmade books and mixed media are only part of the artwork for sale at Artifacts.
  • Artifacts is also home to 12 artists in residence, who rent studio space. It is a place to wander through and watch the artist at work.
  • The newest addition to Artifacts is The Chile Store, where a variety of New Mexico made chile products such as salsa, dry mixes, jellies, and hot sauces can be found.
